The Edit Person notes view lets you view and edit every note belonging to a person.  This includes the general note, fact notes, name notes, and family notes.  Each one of these items has it's own note, and this view will display each of these items (whether they have a note or not).

 

If an item has a note, RootsMagic will display an asterisk (*) in front of the item name.  When you highlight a row, the note editor on the right will display the note and allow you to edit it directly.  There is a search box above the list of notes which will let you filter the list based on text in the note.
