The citation list on the Sources page shows the citation records belonging to one source. Click a source's Citations count to open the list. Check the source name in the heading, and use the back arrow to return to all sources.

Choose and edit a citation
Select a citation to display it on the right. Read its specific item and formatted preview, not just its name: two citations of the same book may point to different pages. Use Editing a citation for details of the fields, text, links, and header naming control.
If you correct a citation's page number under Citation Details, it changes for every person or fact using that citation. If you correct a book title under Master Source, it changes in every citation of that book. Open Citation Used or Source Used in the links section to see who will be affected.
Add, copy, or attach
Use Add to create another citation of this source. Use Tools > Copy selected citation when a similar citation is a useful starting point, then rename and correct the copy. See Adding a citation and Using Sources and Citations.
A citation created here is saved, but it is not yet evidence for a person or fact in your tree. Open Sources for the person or fact, choose Cite existing, and select the saved citation. To add it as a general source for several people, select it here and choose Tools > Add this citation to multiple people.
Find the uses
Open Citation Used to see which people, families, and facts use the citation. The number of uses may be greater than one even though the citation occupies only one row in this list. Quality is assessed for an individual use in Edit Person, not for this row as a whole; see Citation quality.
Do not confuse this database-wide citation list with the citation list for a particular fact in Edit Person. The former contains all saved citations of one source; the latter contains the citations attached to one selected item, potentially from several sources.
