The Home page shows summary counts for the current tree, including people, places, sources, media, and tasks. Check the filename and folder first when more than one tree is open.

Click File Properties for a more detailed breakdown. Where a count has a view link, open it to inspect the actual records rather than relying only on the total.

Counts are useful for checking an import or conversion, but matching totals do not prove that every relationship or detail transferred correctly. Inspect representative people, sources, notes, and media as well. See Moving to RootsMagic 12 and Importing data.
