The RootsMagic Publisher allows you to combine multiple reports into a single document (or book). This document can include narrative books (like the modified register), pedigree charts, family group sheets, and several other common printouts. The document can also include cover and title pages, a table of contents, other introductory pages, a shared index and source bibliography covering all sections in the document.

Plan the book before generating it

Choose the audience and starting family, then add chapters that serve distinct purposes: a narrative for the story, charts for relationships, and supporting lists or research notes where needed. Preview a small book before adding many generations or chapters.

The saved book definition contains your arrangement and report choices. Regenerating uses the tree's current information. A previously saved PDF or word-processing file remains a separate snapshot until you generate and save a new one.
