While RootsMagic provides functions to rearrange the children in a single family, or the spouses of a single person, the Tools page offers the ability to rearrange all children and all spouses for the entire database.

 

•Rearrange Children will arrange the children in every family by their birth date.  Children without a birth date will sort to the top.

•Rearrange Spouses will arrange the spouses of every person by their marriage date.  Spouses without a marriage date will sort to the top.

 

Because this could potentially undo manually rearranged children or spouses, it is advised that you create a backup of your database first.
